I provide in-person and individual teletherapy to adults (18 years and older) seeking to address a wide range of mental health goals. As a neurodiversity-affirming clinical social worker licensed in Maryland, Massachusetts and Washington, DC, my style is empathetic and collaborative. It is important to me to provide an affirming space for every client including those in the LGBTQIA+ community.
My previous experience includes providing individual, group and family therapy in a school-based mental health program for adolescents in Montgomery County, MD. I also served clients of all ages in a public mental health agency. In both positions, I supported clients who worked on goals related to anxiety, depression, stress, gender identity, relationships, trauma, psychosis, self-harm, grief, self-esteem, immigration, life transitions and other topics.
I received a Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
Since I am licensed in three places, I am fortunate to work with a diverse client group whose identity, history and background vary. For every client, I use a strengths-based approach.
